BUSINESS PARTNER ANALYST_CUSTOMER (M/F)

Sonae is Portugal’s largest retailer with a success story of more than 30 years. We are looking for talented technologists to help us in Sonae BIT, to revolutionize the whole shopping experience both in physical and digital touchpoints with our customers.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to help the company in its leverage loyalty customer programs, such as Cartão Continente. The main aim is to developed sensibility to customer relationship and experience management, seeking to be solution-oriented and pragmatic. As a facilitator in multidisciplinary teams, this person will be dealing with internal and external teams (both business and IT), anticipating problems, working on solutions and aligning expectations.


What will be expected of you?

  • Manage relationships and expectations with key business stakeholders
  • Build expertise in retail business processes and the enabling IT solutions
  • Triage new business demand into initiatives or product functional backlog
  • Develop appropriate business demand characterization, benefits identification, portfolio prioritization and product functional backlog
  • Support business stakeholders’ alignment with IT initiatives deliverables
  • Enable adoption of new capabilities delivered by IT initiatives
  • Ensure BIT processes compliance and execution

Main requirements

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or similar background, or equivalent IT practical experience
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst with varied project delivery in retail, IT and store operations
  • Retail/consumer-facing experience or experience working in a technology company or agency environment
  • Proficiency in both English and Portuguese
