We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our office in Berlin. You'll be working with a modern tech stack (Golang, Kotlin, Python, PHP, node.JS) based on a microservices architecture, entirely on Amazon Web Services.

We’re a team of 5,000 ambitious, curious people building marketplace platforms that make it super easy for anyone to buy and sell almost anything, boosting local economies.

What you will be doing:

• Building platforms used by hundreds of millions of people around the globe
• Developing and maintaining a service with billions of page views per month
• Participation in expert groups and work on specific technical challenges
• Working with engineers from other European offices
• Performance troubleshooting
  

Who we're looking for:

• You are an expert in either Golang, PHP, Java or Kotlin
• You're experienced with larg scale web applications
• You're passionate for beautiful, test-driven code and an eye for simplicity and pragmatism
• You speak fluent English
• Experience with CI/CD, RESTful APIs, AWS, relational and non-relational databases
