IPN - Instituto Pedro Nunes

IPN promotes innovation and technology transfer, being the main link between the University of Coimbra and the business sector. IPN operates in three complementary areas: Incubation and acceleration of technology-based enterprises; Research and technological development; Highly specialized training. Recently, the IPN Incubator was distinguished by UBI Global as one of the 10 best university business incubators in the world. The Laboratory for Informatics and Systems (IPN LIS) is one of the labs of research and technological development of IPN. It brings together a wide set of competencies and expertise in several areas of Information and Communication Technologies which are applied and used to support initiatives for technology transfer towards industry and public bodies.
