Analytics Engineer (Snowflake/DBT)

What are you going to do?

• Design and implement data models and ETL processes in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs;
• Develop and maintain DBT models, transformations, and documentation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability;
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Optimize query performance and data pipeline efficiency to support scalable and high-performance analytics;
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring the integrity of our data assets;
• Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our capabilities.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms;
• Hands-on experience with DBT (data build tool) and a strong understanding of data modeling concepts;
• Experience with Python or another scripting language for data manipulation and automation;
• Experience in version control tools like GitLab or GitHub;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Experience with other data engineering tools and technologies such as Airflow, Spark, or Kafka (Nice to have)
