Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports.

What will you be doing?

  • Create an API framework for the company's various business domains;
  • Help the different business domains develop APIs accessible by external clients, providing key building blocks, documentation, and training to deploy APIs;
  • Operate in an Agile manner (by sprints) and be highly collaborative around the Team Lead;

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar;
  • 5 years of experience in API design and documentation;
  • Hands-on experience with API design, API composition, BFF (Backend for Frontend), and API gateway (mandatory);
  • Proficiency in designing Java services and components within a microservices ecosystem (mandatory);
  • Knowledge of API documentation structures such as Swagger and OpenAPI, with familiarity in formats like JSON and YAML;
  • Experience in adopting best practices for writing and documenting code;
  • Extensive experience with Java (versions 8-11), Spring Boot (version 2+), Spring Data, JPA, and Hibernate;
  • Proven experience with Proof of Concept (POC) to demonstrate technical concepts;
  • Experience with Jenkins jobs (version 2+), Spring Security, Authentication & Authorization, Splunk (version 8+), API monitoring, and Docker (highly valued).
  • trong written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level is mandatory);
  • Hybrid work model: based in Lisbon;
  • Must reside in Portugal and possess either Portuguese citizenship or a valid Work Visa/Residence Card (eliminatory factor).
