SWJ Portugal Engineering Solutions is an SWJ company. This is where passion and customer orientation meet for the areas of software, hardware development and testing.

Our software, hardware and testing developers mainly develop in the field of embedded systems. In this context, we are supporting our customers according to Automotive SPICE, agile methods and their customer-specific processes and tools.

We are looking for a Requirements Engineer (m/w/d) in the automotive sector.

Main tasks

Your main tasks, although not limited to, are:

  • Support and further development of the complete requirements engineering process in close coordination with the specialized departments of the development team and the quality department
  • Elaboration of the system requirements specification, taking into account the requirements of the overall system
  • Methodical support for the product developers
  • Maintenance and evaluation of requirements management database data (such as DOORS, Polarion, PTC Integrity, etc.)
  • Participation in meetings and coordination of requirements with other departments (interdisciplinary collaboration), external partners and customers
  • Documentation of actions, measures and decisions regarding requirements management
  • Supporting sales and project management in the preparation of quotations
  • Customer presentations
  • The tasks will be carried on site in Lisbon.

Your skills

  • Knowledge in the area of requirements analysis and requirements engineering
  • Knowledge of the methodology for structuring and implementing requirements databases and their practical application using requirements management SW tools
  • Knowledge of the representation of processes and workflows using common modelling techniques (in particular UML/SysML) is desirable
  • Sound knowledge of relevant software development processes (especially ASPICE) is desirable
  • Strong team spirit, initiative and flexibility
  • We require a very good command of English
