Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain microservices components that align with product functionalities;
• Integrate open-source software solutions into the product, ensuring they meet the required standards and functionality;
• Engage actively in all phases of the development cycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, implementation, and testing;
• Participate in cross-team code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices;
• Propose and implement software enhancements, always weighing the cost/benefit ratio to optimize performance and maintainability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• +3 years of experience in Java development;
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented programming concepts, data structures, and multi-threading;
• Familiarity with database concepts and their application in software development; 
• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team;
• Experience with REST and Event-Driven Architecture (e.g., Kafka, NATS);
• Proficiency in cloud-oriented server languages (e.g., Go, Java, Python);
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB);
• Familiarity with container-based architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes);
• Experience with cloud deployments on platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure;
• Living in Lisboa (hybrid role).
