Position: Backup Administrator

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid – 2 days on-site)

What You’ll Do:

• Manage backup systems, including Veritas NetBackup (versions 8, 9, 10), OpsCenter, IT Analytics, and SAN Switches;
• Oversee Windows and Linux environments, IBM and Quantum robotic systems, and DataDomain VTLs;
• Handle installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and debugging of backup solutions;
• Provide exceptional client support by addressing service requests and resolving technical challenges;
• Perform reporting, capacity planning, automation, and scripting to maintain service efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Expertise with backup technologies, particularly Veritas NetBackup (v8, v9, v10);
• Familiarity with IBM and Quantum robotic systems and DataDomain VTLs;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues;
• At least 5 years of experience in backup management and related technologies;
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems – nice to have
• Fluency in Portuguese; English proficiency is a bonus.
