BI Engineer

We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports.

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years experience as a BI Engineer;

• Proficient in SSIS and ETL design and development;

• Skilled in SQL, including joins, correlated queries, sub-queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views;

• Understanding of fundamental data warehousing concepts such as facts, dimensions, and star schema;

• Experienced in the development and implementation of data warehousing solutions;

• Understanding of data management fundamentals and data storage principles;

• Familiar with JIRA and Azure DevOps;

• Basic knowledge of Azure Analysis Services and cube development management features;

• Familiarity with ETL processes, including data integration and workflow design;

• Experience in performance tuning of SSAS cubes and SQL databases;

• Hands-on experience with Azure services, especially those related to data management like Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory (plus);

• General knowledge of Azure Cloud services and infrastructure to enhance integration with the Azure ecosystem (plus);

• Available for a hybrid work model (2-3 times per week in Lisbon).

• Strong interpersonal and communicational skills;

• Written and verbal communication skills in English (B2).
