The Credit Control function currently operates on a country by country basis with members located in Lisbon servicing our broker, cover holder business and direct business clients across European countries (Belgium, Holland, Germany, France, Spain and Ireland). The Germany team has 7 Team Members, who need to find the balance between managing client relationships sensitively and recovering debt in a way that meets our values and position in the market. How will you help us? You will support our team in managing the Billing and Collection processes in the new operating system, by providing an efficient and high quality administrative service. The Billing (and Collection ) Administrator should act as the voice of the customer and provide a high quality service to internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Administrative duties: profiling, issuing documentation/letters and mailbox monitoring; - Support internal and external stakeholders (Brokers /Underwriters), both by phone or email; - Data entry and data maintenance on Client/Broker Level (Payment terms and Payment Methods, Bank Details); - Ensure high-quality service standards and keep data consistently updated; - Support small corrections to invoices, creating and updating payment plans (instalments) in the system; - Managing credit notes on a daily basis in order to enable smooth refund process; - Maintaining billing data within the system as required to support billing accuracy; - Supporting customers and colleagues with any unexpected queries; - Addressing invoicing disputes as necessary; - Cancellations What we expect from you? - Bachelor’s degree in a related field or experience in Customer Support, Credit Control or Billing; - Proficient in written and spoken German and English; - Strong and confident telephone manor; - Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a member of various teams. - Curious, willing to learn and showing a challenging conventions spirit. - Excellent accuracy and attention to detail even when dealing with high volume and under time pressure; - Ability to organise and prioritise and plan workload to meet deadlines. - Personal integrity: doing what they say they’ll do when they said they’d do it; - Good Customer Focus.
