We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. What are you going to do?

  • Lead one team focused on backend software development responsible for development and maintaining their product areas;
  • Mentor and coach team members, creating a high performance team;
  • Identify team members potential as well as skill gaps to foster continuous improvements;
  • Work closely with a Product Owner in defining the road map and team expectations;
  • Plan team deliveries in accordance to roadmap and team capacity;
  • Ensure alignments between teams, when dependencies exist;
  • Report on initiative progress and ensure timely completion;
  • Participate on solution design and implementation.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. If you do not have one but you are really good (and can show it), we still want to hear from you;
  • More than 8 years of software development experience;
  • More than 3 years of people management and or / project management experience;
  • Experience in mentoring younger software engineers;
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English;
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and Object-Oriented Design;
  • Coding experience in one or more of these technologies is a plus: C#, Java, Python;
  • AWS, Kubernetes, Microservices Development experience (valued);
  • Relational Database experience: SQLServer, Oracle (valued)
  • Continuous delivery and testing techniques (valued);
  • Experience in solving and troubleshooting highly complex technical problems
  • Drive to innovate and bring development best practices into your team;
  • Drive to understand what are the upcoming technologies and frameworks;
  • Drive to understand what are the upcoming technologies and frameworks.
