Role: Cloud Engineer 

 

Job Responsibilities:   

• Work in the Cloud Centre of Excellence team and be in touch with the 3 major cloud service providers: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.  

• Implement and deploy cloud solutions, through the usage of Terraform (IaC), following the best practices specified within the team.  

• Help maintain and improve the governance of each Cloud by enabling and facilitating the global usage within the company, while setting rails and policies to safeguard mis use.  

• Analyse existent infrastructures, provide insight on how to optimize them (following the R’s migration methodology) and help deploy the changes. 

 

Technical Skills Required: 

• 2 years of professional experience with at least one major cloud service provider.  

• 1 or more cloud certifications.  

• Experience with microservice architectures on Kubernetes – Kubernetes certification required.  

• Proven experience with IaC practices and patterns – Terraform, Ansible, etc.  

• Solid understanding of modern information implementation methodologies and standards, especially in cloud environments.  

• Proven experience with git practices and patterns.  

 

Bonus skills  

• Professional Cloud Architecture certification.  

• CKA or CKAD or CKS certification
