What skills do you need to have?

 

• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• +1 year experience in COBOL programming;
• Familiarity with COBOL development tools;
• Knowledge of relational databases, especially DB2;
• Understanding of transactional systems principles, including CICS;
• Skills in SQL and data manipulation;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt to legacy technological environments, and grow professionally;
• Good levelf of French (B2+ - Valued)

 

Some of your responsibilities will be:

 

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL;
• Development tools for code optimization and operational efficiency;
• Manage and optimize SQL queries for effective manipulation of large datasets in DB2 environments;
• Apply principles of transactional systems in CICS environments;
• Integrate legacy systems with new technologies;
