Data Migration Specialist

This could be the perfect challenge if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field;
• Proven experience in planning and executing data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and minimizing impact on business operations;
• Experience in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of data migration from source to target systems, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Blob Storage, to manage and facilitate data migration;
• Expertise in data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing solutions;
• Deep understanding of data integrity checks, data validation, and cleansing techniques to ensure the accuracy and security of data during migration;
• Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the migration process;
• Strong project management skills to oversee migration projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation;
• Ability to thoroughly document the migration process for auditing, compliance, and knowledge transfer purposes;
• Fluency in English.
