Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Management Consultant for one of our banking clients. A Software House focused on the development of financial markets and investment platforms, with several international projects, in Lisbon.

 

What you will do:

You will be responsible for helping build and optimize queries for extracting data, We are looking for a professional who knows how to operate batch files as well as working with JCLs for data transformation through the IBM 3270 and its different mainframes.

 

What you are like:

• Knowledge and experience with the IBM3270 mainframe;
• Should be able to build various simple to complex SQL Queries (either using Oracle or DB2 as the underlying Data model will be same);
• Should be able to interact with various Project Teams/Business/Production support teams/Testing teams to understand various Key tables and should be able to create the test data in the Pre environment based on the request from various stakeholders to carry out testing in Pre-Production environment;
• Having COBOL, JCL Knowledge would be desirable to Monitor the Batches and fix any Batch job failures;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
