Position: DBA Oracle

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid) or Porto (Hybrid) or Remote (Portugal)

Language: Mandatory: Fluent English / Nice to have: Fluent Italian

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience (> 7 years) with the architecture and configuration of Oracle Database

• Experience as a Linux System Administrator in Enterprise environments.

• Experience in tuning and monitoring tools and performance tuning

• Experience with Backup and Recovery solutions.

• Good knowledge of other Linux operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise. Key Skills

• High availability and disaster recovery solutions for Oracle.

• Performance tuning and cost optimization.

• Backup and Recovery strategies.

• Familiarity with scripting languages, Perl and Python

• Strong analytical problem-solving skills

 

Nice to Have

• Knowledge in Oracle Exadata systems and Cloud OCI

• Knowledge in security features and best practices for data protection

• Windows Server Operating Systems System Administrator

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies - Hyper-V

• Knowledge of network fundamentals and network connectivity
