Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Application Management Specialist with strong Kubernetes expertise to support the operation and ongoing development of an existing platform. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in application management and technical skills in Kubernetes, Ansible, and GitLab.

Key Responsibilities:
------------------------------------------------------
Ensure the smooth operation of the platform, addressing and resolving any issues to maintain high availability and performance.
Continually update and improve the environment to meet evolving needs and integrate new features.
Manage application configurations and deployments using tools such as Kubernetes, Ansible, and GitLab.
Write and maintain scripts in Shell to automate routine tasks and processes.
Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
------------------------------------------------------
Proven experience in application management and ensuring operational continuity.
Strong technical proficiency in Kubernetes, Ansible, GitLab, and Shell scripting.
Availability to participate in a regular 24/7 on-call rotation

Optional: Command of the German language, both written and verbal
Optional: Technical proficiency in Linux.
Optional: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Optional: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
Familiarity with Windows environments is a plus but not required.

This is a remote position, allowing flexibility in work location.
Candidates should be prepared for occasional meetings or onsite visits as required by project needs.
