DevOps Engineer

Sepio is a fast-growing start-up in the cybersecurity domain, founded by serious industry veterans, well-funded, and headed by an experienced management team. We are building the first Asset Risk Management platform that provides visibility, control, and mitigation to zero trust, insider threat, BYOD, IT, OT, and IoT security programs. About the role
You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our company's infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and continuous integration/delivery workflows. You will work closely with development teams to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery, as well as identify and implement improvements to our systems and processes.

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Build and maintain deployment pipelines using technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
• Design and implement data pipelines to support various data processing needs across the organization
• Work closely with development teams to ensure code is deployed efficiently and reliably while maintaining high standards of security and performance
• Identify and implement improvements to our systems and processes, including automation and monitoring solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and technologies
• Report directly to Head of DevOps

 

Essential skills & experience

• 3 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field
• Strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong experience with deployment pipeline technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
• Strong scripting skills using languages such as Python or Bash
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

 

Nice to have

• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or AWS Glue
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or SOC2
