Digital Accessibility Specialist

This could be the perfect challenge if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field;
• Proven experience in assessing, developing, and implementing accessibility strategies for digital content, websites, and applications;
• Experience with digital accessibility tools and standards, such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Section 508, and ADA compliance;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its capabilities to support accessibility in cloud-based environments;
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) to ensure that all digital content is accessible;
• Strong skills in conducting accessibility audits and implementing necessary changes to meet accessibility standards;
• Experience with accessibility testing tools such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and automated testing tools like Axe or Wave;
• Ability to lead accessibility projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards;
• Fluency in English.
