Calling All Dutch Masters of Numbers! Your Next Adventure Awaits in Lisbon! Are you a Dutch Accountant with 4 or 5 years of experience in the Economic or Accounting area? If you're ready to take the next step in your career journey, we have an enticing opportunity waiting for you in the heart of Lisbon! Your Responsibilities: Regular posting of business transactions. Month, Quarter and Year End activities. Be involved in audit requests. Support Accounts Payable, Assets accounting and Treasury areas. Accounts, banks and systems reconciliations. Intercompany reconciliations. Support the production of financial monthly reports. Liaising with internal and external parties to meet agreed deadlines. Find proactive approaches to ensure regulatory, tax, corporate and compliance requirements are met when applicable. Analysis and preparation of management information reports as requested. Support country Finance Manager. Assure the accuracy of accounting postings and compliance with accounting rules and internal accounting policy and delegated authority matrix. Resolve queries from stakeholders by e-mail or phone. Create and/or update processes and internal documentation on a regular basis. Support and participate in the implementation of continuous improvement or change project work and processes. Support Line manager in standardization/automation of European procedures. Delivers exceptional quality service standards/KPIs and maintain the relevant data updated. Key Requirements: Have a degree qualification in Economic/ Administrative/ Accounting area or equivalent. Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory). Attention to detail and accuracy, structured and autonomous working style. Experience in Accounting is required (minimum of 5 years). Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be an added value. Good computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel (Advanced). VBA is an added value and; Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP is a plus; What we offer: Healthy work-life balance with our 35h/week and hybrid working system. Permanent contract with the client.
