Randstad Digital is recruiting a Embedded Software Engineer, for direct integration in a company, with offices located in Braga.

• Firmware/software development for embedded systems  (Zephyr RTOS; nRF Connect SDK; Arm Cortex-M; Bluetooth Low Energy; Bluetooth Stack; FreeRTOS (Real-Time Operation System); Microcontrollers: STM32 and Microchip (PIC24, dsPIC33, PIC32); FPGA.
• Collaboration in code development; activities of code review;
• Architecture and design of electronic systems for products;
• Testing for circuit validation;
• Development of product functionality test systems;
• Collaboration with different necessary areas, optics, mechanics and industrialization, for the development of the project and/or product.

requisitos/requirements

• Background in Electronic Engineering or similar;
• 3 years of proven experience in firmware/software development for embedded systems;
• Deep experience with both hardware and software;
• Knowledge of PCB design and layout (Altium desigener, Kicad or Zuken);
• Knowledge of of circuit simulation (in LTspice);
• Programming languages: Assembly, Embedded C, C, C++, Python, JavaScript;
• Git (versions control);Experience in Jira, Confluence and Visual Studio Code;
• Opto-electronic know-how strongly valued;
• Full systems thinking;
• Problem-solving and ability to create new solutions;
• Understanding of project management;
• Good English communication skills (intermediate level B2 is a mandatory requirement).
