FinOps Senior Engineer

We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports.

What are you going to do?

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP and/or Azure;
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using IaC tools;
• Design and develop CI/CD (YAML) pipelines in Azure DevOps /AWS DevOps /Jenkins/any other CI/CD tools;
• Core engineering skills in designing and developing applications understanding development best practices;
• Analyze and optimize cloud costs using cloud cost management tools and best practices;
• Develop and implement cloud governance frameworks to ensure security and compliance;
• Utilize data analysis skills (Python, SQL) to extract insights from cloud usage data;
• Experience visualizations using tools like Looker Studio, Power BI, Apptio, or Cloud Health;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud applications, and infrastructure with business needs.

 

What are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure design and management, preferably with GCP or Azure;
• Proficiency in Python or Golang for scripting and automation;
• Strong data analysis skills using Python or SQL/PostgreSQL;
• Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet) and CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience in a DevOps or cloud-centric role;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies;
• Experience in Database management.
• Certified FinOps practitioner is a plus.
