Position: FOTA Senior Embedded System Engineer

Location: Fundão or Porto - Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)

What You’ll Do:

You will be part of the design team for the new FOTA architecture. You will lead the definition of the specification of a component of the functionality architecture and will be responsible for:

• Authoring system design and software specifications.
• Reviewing technical specifications and implementing relevant technical standards for FOTA systems.
• Managing software architecture design and solving complex system-level design problems.
• Preparing documentation and presentation materials to effectively communicate technical subjects.
• Defining deliverables and timings and managing them through to completion.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 5 years’ experience working in systems engineering
• Technical knowledge and experience of software requirements authoring.
• MBSE modelisation using UML/SysML
• Industry experience, preferably in product development for Software or Systems Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of architectures, on-board communication systems and electrical systems of an embedded system
