In order to grow their business in Portugal, they are looking to expand the team and hire dynamic and curious developers.

Direct Integration in our Client, Full-time

Location: Porto, Hybrid

As a Frontend Developer you are responsible for take ownership of the solutions and show initiative to improve the experience across the full breadth of the company and its product; building, designing and maintaining new and existing Angular components; collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services; implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility; keeping libraries up to date and reviewing security vulnerabilities; contributing to the continuous improvement and maintenance of our platform and supporting processes. You will also be responsible for sharing and brainstorming solutions with the development team and wider business; helping to shape the product roadmap. For this position you should have in-depth commercial experience of Javascript and Typescript; Angular; Node.js; HTML5, CSS3; designing and building great-looking user experiences; testing frameworks such as Cypress or Karma. The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following skills and experience: familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services; one or more Cloud platforms e.g. AWS, GCP; one or more version control techniques e.g. github, bitbucket; CI/CD pipelines; a passion for learning and keeping abreast of current tech and trends; experience with customizing look+feel for different clients; the ability to take a requirement and build a great looking page or component from the ground up; the ability to gain a deep understanding of requirements by asking the right questions; ability to spot potential issues with code and suggest improvements for maintainability and performance.
