Frontend Developer

Javra Software B.V which is a Dutch based software company in The Netherlands since 1999 and having its outsourcing company in Nepal since 2006 and nearshore company in Lisbon, Portugal since May 2022. 

We are an innovative IT services providing company having its customers mainly located in Europe, USA, China and Hong Kong. We work on different innovative IT solutions platforms. 

For our branch office JAVRA Software in Lisbon, we are searching for a Frontend Developer who is creative and innovative. You will be working on various internal and external projects with various levels of complexities and challenges. 

In this function, you will be working on a hybrid basis, 3 days of work from the office and 2 days’ work from home.  

We are in Restelo Business Center in Lisbon. 

Role and Responsibilities: 

What we expect from you: 

• We seek a Junior-Mid Level Frontend Developer proficient in key technologies utilized in our PimCore and Laravel environments.  

• The ideal candidate will focus on creating engaging, high-performing user interfaces using Ext JS, Alpine.js, Vue, React and similar technologies. This role involves collaboration within our development team to craft optimal solutions that elevate user experience. 

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): 

• Design, develop, and optimize frontend aspects of web applications.  

• Work closely with backend developers to ensure systems are integrated without issues.  

• Create responsive web interfaces and ensure compatibility across major browsers and devices.  

• Utilize technologies such as ExtJS, Alpine.js, Vue or Reat to enhance application effectiveness.  

• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest frontend technologies and best practices.  

• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance. 

Requirements: 

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. 

• Demonstrated experience with ExtJS, Alpine.js, Vue, React or similar JavaScript frameworks and libraries. 

• Strong understanding of API operation and authentications best practices. 

• Understanding of responsive web design and frontend development best practices. 

• Familiarity with backend frameworks (knowledge of Laravel is a plus but not required). 

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 

• 1-3 years of professional experience in frontend web development. 

• Fluent in spoken and written English. 

• Able to multitask and focus on deadlines under pressure. 

• Team player. 

• Passionate about new technology.
