What are you going to do?

• Develop Frontend and Backend Web applications based on proven technologies and frameworks;
• Perform maintenance, patching, and automated deployment of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability;
• Implement advanced software code versioning and continuous integration practices;
• Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and acceptance tests for application developments;
• Analyze and rectify application faults to maintain optimal functionality;
• Extend interfaces, web services, and application components to enhance usability and functionality;
• Plan and implement changes according to agile principles, ensuring efficient project execution;
• Take ownership of application lifecycle management, problem-solving, and partial project management;
• Create requirements analysis and maintain project- and product-relevant documentation to ensure clarity and alignment;
• Coordinate and collaborate with external service providers to leverage expertise and resources effectively;
• Assume responsibility for application services, ensuring smooth operation and user satisfaction.

 

What are we looking for?

• Completed higher education in IT or equivalent practical experience;
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in web programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3;
• Strong experience with the content management system Drupal and PHP framework Symfony, or a strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly;
• Proficiency in Frontend design and UX principles, with a keen eye for detail and usability;
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, particularly GIT, is essential for effective collaboration and version control;
• Profound understanding of relational database systems such as MariaDB/MySQL and/or MS SQL, ensuring efficient data management and optimization;
• Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies such as MS SharePoint and/or PowerApps is preferred, demonstrating versatility in leveraging diverse technology stacks;
• Good knowledge of modern interface technologies such as REST or SOAP, enabling seamless integration and interoperability;
• Analytical and conceptual thinking, coupled with an independent working style, to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions
• Communicative team player with a high degree of initiative and a strong customer orientation, fostering collaboration and delivering exceptional value to clients;
• Strong and stylistically confident communication skills in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
