Hardware Integration Engineer

This could be the perfect challenge if you have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development with proficiency in Python or C++.
• Strong background in IoT ecosystems and hardware-software integration.
• Hands-on experience with low-level communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP, WS).
• Proficiency in networking concepts, including DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of Linux server management, cloud platforms, and networking hardware.
• Expertise in Bash scripting, including loops, conditionals, and advanced techniques.
• Proficiency with Linux terminal tools (e.g., grep, sed, awk, curl, wget, find, cron).
• Strong understanding of system processes, logs, permissions, and file system management.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools such as netstat, ping, and traceroute.
• Experience with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Main responsibilities:

• Design and implement software solutions to integrate IoT devices with backend systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Perform tasks such as circuit testing, motherboard setup, cabling, and hardware diagnostics.
• Develop and optimize code for efficient data communication between hardware devices and software platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to physical connections, cabling, hardware configurations, and software communication.
• Integrate and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable IoT ecosystems.
• Work with hardware teams to troubleshoot and debug hardware-software interactions, ensuring smooth integration.
• Conduct rigorous performance testing and debugging for hardware and backend systems.
• Manage version control and collaborative development using Git.
