The role: Support Line Manager and European Accounting Team in the accomplish of day to day accounting activities and deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Posting of invoices and personal expenses; - Posting of prepayments; - Posting of banking transactions; - Payment run processes; - Email management activities; - Treasury activities; - Archiving; - Accounts, banks and systems reconciliations; - Month, Quarter and Year End activities; - Create and/or update processes and internal documentation on a regular basis; - Support Line manager in standardization/automation of European procedures; - Maintain KPI’s and assure SLA’s are accomplished. Person Specification - University degree in Management/Accounting or professional qualification and relevant work experience compatible with the function; - Fluent in English and German; - Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a member of different teams; - Focused attention to detail and accuracy, structured and autonomous/responsible working style; - You would need to be able to explain your findings in a simple way that does not mislead or confuse; - Be organised, efficient and logical in the way you carry out your work. Professional Experience in Accounting is required (1 to 3 years); You will need good computer skills including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); Oracle knowledge will be an advantage.
