Internal Control Specialist (M/F)- Lisboa

Main Responsibilities: • Develop and implement internal control procedures and policies to safeguard the company's assets and data. • Perform risk assessments to identify potential areas of financial vulnerability and make recommendations for improvements. • Review and assess financial transactions, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and industry standards. • Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify discrepancies, irregularities, or potential fraud. • Prepare detailed reports of audit findings, including recommended actions for management. • Educate and train employees on internal control procedures, fraud prevention, and ethical practices. What are we looking for? • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. • A relevant certification (e.g., CIA, CFE, CPA) is a plus. • Proven experience in internal audit, risk assessment, or internal control function. • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles. • Fluent level of English.
