ISO 27001 Expert

As ISMS consultant you will support the Security team in achieving its objectives of realizing an ISO27000 certification and deliver expert support for the activities defined in the security improvement plan. You will help the organization understand the concepts of the ISMS. You will document Information Technology and Security Control policies and procedures to support several certifications and audits, including ISO 27001. You will help implement an ISMS that delivers on the company ambitions and obligations towards its regulators and other stakeholders. At the same time, you ensure that the company can focus on its business objectives and that the complexity of the ISMS is proportionate to its size. You will collaborate with other ICT and business teams to adapt the theoretical concepts to the company environment. And you will help the organization to embed the security controls in day-to-day operations. Your role: o To revamp & merge the set of Information security policies and development guidelines into a consistent set of policies. o Develop and build security dashboards for senior management. o Build roadmap for implementation of an ISO27001 information security management system & identify missing items. o Set-up of a reporting structure to inform senior management on our Information security status and upcoming risks. o Provide experience with setting up an information security management system. Your profile o A pragmatic attitude towards information security and ICT in general o Good communication and collaboration skills o Proven ISO 27000 series implementation expertise and a track record of at least 5 years relevant work o Fluent in English. Command of French and/or Dutch is an asset. o Be independent, results oriented, and thorough in examination and analysis o Adaptable to dynamic situations and proactive work ethic o Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills with a clear experience focusing under pressure o Experience influencing stakeholders and partner teams, especially in collaborating with different individuals across the organization o Communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders and attention to detail What can you expect from us?
