Randstad is recruiting a IT Infrastructure Architect, for direct integration, in industry client, located in Aveiro.

This position can be full remote or hybrid (the candidate can choose what he prefers).

It is mandatory the candidate lives in Portugal and has at least B2 intermediate level of English communication.

This professional will work in a international team. This professional will help define the central IT infrastructure in a global company and turn ideas into projects. This professional will evaluate the latest technologies and develop concepts for their implementation.

- Design, development and life-cycle management of Windows and Linux Servers.
- Design, development and management of the corporate Data Centre (housing), server and storage environment for both, on premises and cloud hosted resources.
- Design, development and management of disaster recovery solutions and procedures based on business requirements for both, on premises and cloud hosted resources.
- Design, development and management of backup and restore solutions and procedures based on business requirements aligned with security processes for both, on premises and cloud hosted resources.
- Design, development and life-cycle management of Windows SQL Server and Oracle SQL on premises environments.
- Design, development and management of enterprise Windows Server Configurations Management solution.
- Project Management of international IT projects.
- Selection, management and supervision of external partners.
- Consulting, management and maintenance of Windows Server security.
- Design, development and management of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud solutions supporting virtual server and storage workloads, backup and DR, in close cooperation with cloud infrastructure architects.
- 3rd level support for the infrastructure operations team, site administrators and other IT teams for the above.
- Consulting and design of business-related solutions in terms of the corporate server and storage systems.
- Selection and management of necessary IT-tools and applications for hosting and backup infrastructure.


requisitos/requirements
- More than 8 years of professional experience in IT Infrastructures (mandatory requirement).
- More than 2 years of experience as Infrastructure Architect for backup solutions and hosting (mandatory requirement).
- Experience in backup solutions and hosting (server hardware, NetApp, VMWare, CommVault or similar).
- Project management skills.
- Team player and good critical thinking skills.
- English communication (B2 intermediate level is a mandatory requirement, interviews will be in English).
