IT Lead - Tech Hub

Our client is looking to hire a IT Lead for the Portuguese team.

Description

• You will be part of the leadership team of the tech hub, working closely with the Managing Directors, Data Team Lead/Chief of Staff and the HR Country Lead
• You work with a closely-knit collective of both young and seasoned individuals organized in several agile Product teams with deep competences in cutting-edge media technologies, cloud technologies, corporate solutions, software development and operations
• The role extends over the full lifecycle of our IT staff - recruiting candidates including attracting talent and building a strong employer brand, onboarding of new staff, development, retention and/or out-phasing
• Key areas include recruiting and mentoring/coaching engineers in terms of their personal development, taking part in shaping our culture towards high-performance and fostering collaboration
• In addition to these internal tasks, you represent the Tech Hub at local meet-ups, national conferences etc. to support employer branding initiatives

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or substantial experience working in IT
• 2+ years working experience as an IT team lead including in-depth knowledge of essential concepts and methods related to performance appraisal, leadership, communication and learning
• Key competences for this position are effective communication, building trustful relationships to influence others, and promote collaboration and transparency
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (German language proficiency is a plus)
