Linux Security Engineer

As a system engineer with a focus on Linux security, you will: - participate in security projects, install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware - identify, implement and document system security requirements - be involved in the implementation and testing of new security features - develop, automate and implement solutions for security vulnerabilities As security system engineer you will be responsible for some of the following tasks: - Certificates, TLS, Cipher suite settings management - monitoring of certificates expiry and incorrect TLS & Cipher Suite settings - Antivirus and Malvawe management - update of AV agents on Linux systems - Patch management - analysis of emergency patches and identify the impacted assets; patching of Linux systems - OS obsolescence - upgrade of RHEL 7 to RHEL 8 or 9 - Hardening; apply latest hardening standarts, automate the configurations and controles - IDP; maintenance of existing IDP infrastructure; installation and configuration of new components - SIEM; make sure that all assets have CyberSOC agent installed and sending correctly events, simulate & test new use cases, automate updates of CyberSOC agent - Tenables & Nessus scanners - maintenance of the Tenablesc environment Requirements: - Dutch String written and spoken communication skills (Optional) - French String written and spoken communication skills (Optional) - English String written and spoken communication skills (Mandatory) - Bachelor in IT - At least 2 years of relevant experience - Knowlodge of Linux RHEL 8, Ansible/bash/python, Keycloak is mandatory - Knowlodge of Netscaler, Tenablesc/Nessus scanners is preferable What can you expect from us?
