Currently, we are seeking an exceptional Manager Process Engineer who thrives on complex challenges, and is ready to seize this fantastic opportunity.

 

Responsibilities:

• Be part of the Software Delivery management team, overseeing an engineering team focused on middleware technologies with approximately 10 employees;
• Manage the continuous personal and professional development of your engineers, ensuring their optimal deployment within agile product teams;
• Continuously optimize your engineering area to enhance synergies, advisory, efficiency, and output, including the technologies, processes, and tools used;
• Develop and maintain the middleware engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap within your area of responsibility, contributing to the associated platforms' build and support;
• Ensure a high-output delivery environment across various products.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field;
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with initial experience as an engineering manager;
• Extensive experience and knowledge in middleware-related technologies (e.g., API Management - Gateways, Orchestration, Governance and Documentation, Streaming, Messaging, Application Servers, Microservice Architecture, and related patterns);
• Experience in Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Rule Engine (BRE);
• Proficiency in Java;
• Experience with AWS;
• Strong understanding and application of agile methodologies;
• Strong understanding of software development processes;
• Ability to shape and lead high-performing development teams;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Willingness to travel as required;
• Fluent level of English;
• Living in Lisbon (hybrid role).
