The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the mobile and web fields, mobile and web design industry and mobile and web technologies in general, and should have been part of a team that has had several successful web / mobile project deliveries that they can demonstrate.

This role may also require direct contact with the client as part of the full life-cycle of each new project.

Skills and qualifications

The Mobile and Web Designer must be able to demonstrate experience to take concepts and specifications and then translating them into astonishing user interfaces for web applications, mobile apps, portals and websites, with a clean, crisp and modern design whilst applying user centered design techniques and methodologies, up to date usability and design trends, and current web and mobile design tools.

This professional must have advanced creative design experience and skills in, at least, some of the following technologies, with a good portfolio demonstrating their ability:

• Adobe Creative Suite (specially Photoshop and Illustrator);
• Sketch and/or Figma;
• CSS layouts, graphics, icons/glyphs, fonts and graphics design;
• JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 is considered a plus;

must be able to demonstrate experience applying:

• mobile and web user interface design principals, user centric design processes, and accessibility and usability methodologies;

and is highly valued any skills in:

• UI/UX design best practices and methodologies;
• Android and iOS user interface guidelines;
• JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3;
• WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and/or Liferay CMS’s implementation experience is definitely a plus.

This role may also require direct contact with the client as part of the full life-cycle of each new project.

Having a Design, Graphic Arts, Visual Communication or related field degree from a leading university, or equivalent experience, is considered a plus.

Work Experience

Minimum 1+ years proven track record, designing web / mobile applications.
