MuleSoft Integration Senior Engineer

Stefanini is hiring Portugal-based consultants experienced with Mulesoft, to join one of our clients.

• This is a full remote role that requires advanced English fluency.
• Project duration: longterm.

We are seeking a MuleSoft Integration Senior Engineer to architect and lead complex integration projects, while also providing L2/L3 support for critical systems. You will drive the adoption of MuleSoft best practices across the team, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver new integration solutions that align with business needs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Lead L2/L3 support for high-availability systems, ensuring uptime and quick resolution of production issues.
• Develop and maintain API-led connectivity using MuleSoft Anypoint cloud ecosystem.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration deployments.
• Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of integration solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on MuleSoft best practices and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) during integration development.

Required skills:

• Advanced expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule 4, and DataWeave.
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting and resolving L2/L3 support issues in MuleSoft environments.
• Strong knowledge of API design patterns (RAML) and best practices for scalable, secure integrations.
• Experience with cloud-based integrations (AWS, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficient in performance tuning, logging, and monitoring with tools like Splunk or CloudWatch.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience in implementing DevSecOps practices, ensuring security is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of emerging trends in integration, including AI/ML and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with enterprise middleware solutions, such as Dell Boomi or Apache Camel, for comparative analysis.
