• Troubleshooting Incidents: Systematically identifying, analyzing, and resolving intricate issues within a network infrastructure to restore optimal functionality. It requires advanced knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software, as well as a methodical approach to isolate problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions. Successful troubleshooting in complex scenarios often involves collaboration, critical thinking, and leveraging advanced diagnostic tools to ensure rapid and accurate problem resolution.
• Incident Response: Detect and respond to network incidents, such as failures, performance degradation, and security breaches, in a timely manner. Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly.
• Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Configuration Management: Maintain and update network configurations, including IP addresses, subnets, routing tables, and firewall rules. Ensure that network devices are configured correctly and securely.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze network traffic patterns and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization. Implement improvements to enhance network efficiency.
• Documentation: Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Patch management: Apply firmware and software updates to network devices and systems to address security vulnerabilities and improve network stability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including system administrators, cybersecurity experts, and application developers, to address cross-functional network issues.
• Emergency Response: Be available for on-call service to respond to network emergencies outside regular working hours, if necessary.

requisitos/requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
• Certifications (such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are valued.
• More than 2 years of experience in network operations (mandatory requirement).
• Knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and subnetting.
• Knowledge of network security best practices, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
• Ability to analyze network traffic patterns, performance data to identify issues and do data-driven recommendations.
• Experience in network troubleshooting and implementing solutions.
• Communication skills to collaborate with team members and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications (Cisco, CompTIA, or Juniper Networks) are valued.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) and automation tools.
