What are you going to do?

• Ensure the management of applications and data in the cloud;
• Ensure technical and functional business requirements;
• Collaborate on AWS serverless design, development and optimization for energy data pipelines and adjust components for performance, scalability, security and data privacy;
• Integrate smart devices using AWS IoT Core with secure protocols and troubleshoot and ensure seamless device connectivity;
• Extract, standardize and enrich data from external partners via APIs and ensure robust error handling and data validation;
• Administer SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring configuration and optimization and implementing data retention and backups;
• Design end-to-end data pipelines with quality checks and monitoring and enhance pipelines to meet changing business needs;
• Architect scalable Data Lakes with partitioning, indexing and access control and maintain Data Lake integrity with data architects;
• Keeping up to date with data engineering trends and technologies; Optimizing processes, improving performance and innovating in platform architecture.

What are we looking for?

• At least 4 years' professional experience in the implementation of backend services using NodeJS;
• Knowledge of Python will be valued;
• Experience in implementing AWS technologies;
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g. Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora) and NoSQL databases (e.g. Amazon DynamoDB);
• Interest in data engineering (knowledge of AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, DBT is valued);
• Experience and/or knowledge of data models and data integration and processing tools in the Cloud (AWS mainly, AZURE, GCP valued);
• Understanding of networks, systems architecture and microservices architecture;
• Experience in developing RestFul APIs;
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
