Aubay Portugal is a multinational French company, in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto and we are a specialized consultant in Management, Implementation, Development and Maintenance of Information Systems. We have more than 150 active partners and we operate in sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy and transports.
What are you going to do?
- Monitor database performance and implement changes when required;
- Perform database tuning and optimization;
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies;
- Develop and maintain replication routines;
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues;
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions;
- Create and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
- +3 years of proven experience as an Oracle DBA;
- Proficiency in Oracle database management (mandatory);
- Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices;
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization;
- Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery processes;
- Experience with Oracle Golden Gate for data replication and integration (nice to have);
- Knowledge of AWS and cloud-based database management (nice to have);
- Familiarity with the telecom industry, particularly mobile networks (nice to have);
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- Fluency in English, spoken and written (mandatory).
