What you will be doing:

• Design, build and support the infrastructure to support applications and supporting systems 
• Help to define standards and best practices and how internal and external IT teams should adopt them 
• Provide support around Identity and Access management lifecycles 
• Support CI/CD tooling for technical teams to be able to build and deploy using pipelines 
• Run our infrastructure with CloudFormation and Terraform 
• Make monitoring and alerting alerts on symptoms and not on outages (application and infrastructure in all environments) 
• Document every action so your findings turn into repeatable actions–and then into automation 
• Improve the deployment process 
• Design, build and maintain core infrastructure pieces that allow scaling 
• Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack 
• Plan the growth of infrastructure 
• Contributions to the handbook, runbooks, and general documentation.

What we are looking for:

• Experience working with highly available, distributed systems and services in a cloud environment and defining, developing and rolling out technical operations processes and new services 
• Expertise with Kubernetes and Elastisearch
• Experience with CI/CD, preferably Jenkins and Gitlab CI 
• Good hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, IAM, S3, EKS, VPC, Load Balancers, SSL Certificates, Security 
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform 
• Experience with working/implementing monitoring/observability solutions (preferably Grafana or Prometheus)
•  Experience in AWS or Azure Cloud tools 
• Good coding skills for DevOps, like Python, Bash or any other programming language 
• Good understanding of security features and best practices 
•  Willingness to take part in 24/7 on-call rotation 
• Passionate about continuous improvement and collaboration 
• Strong problem-solving skills coupled with good communication skills 
• Fluent in written and spoken Portuguese and English 
• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar. 

What will be a plus:

• Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) 
• Experience with Docker and Python
• Experience with AWS Data persistence services, Lake formation, Data Analytics Services 
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
