PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA)

You must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
• Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Administrator or similar role;
• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, administration, and performance tuning;
• Hands-on experience with database backup and recovery techniques;
• Familiarity with database security principles and best practices;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, both in portuguese and english;
• Experience with other database systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) is a plus;
• Experience with C# is a Plus.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the organization in Agile mode;
• PostgreSQL certification (e.g., Certified PostgreSQL Associate, Certified PostgreSQL Professional);
• Experience with PostgreSQL High Availability solutions (e.g., Replication, Clustering);
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL monitoring and management tools (e.g., pgAdmin, pg_stat_monitor);
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL extensions and advanced features (e.g., PostGIS, JSONB).
