QA Automation Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Postman and JMeter to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform performance and load testing to validate application scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports, including bug tracking and resolution progress.
• Create and maintain test data, test environments, and test frameworks to ensure testing efficiency.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in automation testing within the team.
• Contribute to test planning, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Monitor and improve testing processes to optimize quality assurance efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, or Computer Science (preferred).
• 5+ years in QA Automation roles with hands-on experience in test automation and performance testing.
• Proficiency with JMeter for performance and load testing.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman, including automated API testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test frameworks and tools relevant to automation testing.
• Understanding Agile methodologies;
• Effective communication and collaboration skills;
• Fluent level of English;
• Living in Portugal.
