Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Engineer)

As a QA engineer, you will create automated tests, perform manual and performance testing, and manage defect tracking. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products for Twistag and its clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for web and mobile applications using TypeScript/JavaScript, leveraging frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, and Cypress.

• Perform manual testing on mobile applications, including functionality, usability, compatibility, and exploratory testing.

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for mobile applications.

• Report and track defects using Jira, including providing detailed steps to reproduce and prioritize issues.

• Conduct performance testing on mobile applications.

• Communicate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

• Collaborate within cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.

• Analyze complex issues to identify root causes and provide actionable insights.

• Ensure thorough testing coverage and identification of defects.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in a QA engineer role for web and mobile applications.

• Familiarity with Agile working practices.

• Previous experience as a QA engineer for business applications such as CDP, CRM, ERP, or other SaaS solutions is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript for developing automated tests and frameworks.

• Proficiency in using Git/GitHub for code management, collaboration, and version tracking.

• Experience with mobile testing tools like Maestro for iOS and Android.

• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Apollo Studio.

• It is capable of using bug-tracking systems like Jira.

• Ability to conduct performance testing (using tools like Jest/Reassure).

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical skills to analyze complex issues and provide actionable insights.
