Position: Radar Software Engineer

Location: Hengelo,Netherlands

Type: Hybrid – 3 times a week in Hengelo

As a Radar Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of advanced radar systems. You will work closely with a team of engineers and developers to create real-time software solutions that meet our stringent quality and performance standards.

Technical and Soft Skills:

• Completed HBO or WO education in Technical Computer Science or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, with extensive experience in C, C++17, and/or Java to design, develop, and maintain real-time radar software
• Proven experience in developing real-time software systems.
• Proficiency with build tools such as Maven and/or CMake.
• Experience in container development (e.g., Docker).
• Familiarity with OSGi and/or Celix for modular development.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, preferably Gherkin / TAF.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and tool development.
• Experience with Bazel build system is a plus.
• Strong documentation skills, preferably using Asciidoc.
• Creative, open, and flexible mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Result-oriented with a proactive approach and strong initiative.
• Fluency in English (Mandatory)
• Intermediate in Dutch (is a big plus)
• For this position we can only consider applicants who hold EU passports and are willing to relocate to the Netherlands (mandatory)
