R&D Engineer (M/F) - Lisbon

Kelly Engineering is recruiting a R&D Engineer to join a company in the Energy Sector, located in Lisbon. Responsibilities: As a R&D Engineer you will have both a role in project development and business development: * Participate in R&D and Features Acceleration product and services development on the energy new downstream (electrification, e-mobility, distributed resources, smart homes, flexibility, IoT); * Contribute to specification to design, prototype, and manufacturing; * Design and development of digital and analog electronics for control of electronic systems; * Conducting analysis of state of the art on relevant topics on energy new downstream; * Perform analysis and research to discover new business and projects opportunities; * Support the customer centric user team in product discovery activities; * Conduct presentations to support the business and product development; * Support the preparation of applications for projects financing and business proposals. Requirements: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline); * 2+ years of knowledge and experience in similar roles; * Good knowledge of project development and manufacturing processes in thermodynamic systems or related technologies; * Ability to inform decision-making and identify optimization opportunities through data-driven approaches; * Proficient in English (written and spoken); * Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment; * Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
