The Role:
As a Release Manager at Critical Manufacturing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and successful release of our software, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams like DevOps, expertly planning, coordinating, and executing software releases.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure that the results of software releases are checked on a daily basis
- Provide feedback on releases and ensure that each release has its own documentation
- Review and address tickets related to DevOps/customer installations
- Regular communication with the team and the customer
- Responsible for installation checklist and maintain records of each release and its dependencies
- Perform troubleshooting in both internal and external installations
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities
- Assure delivery quality and monitor delivery performance
What you must have:
- More than 2 years of experience in software development or release management
- Degree in software/computer engineering
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Powershell
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation tools
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in managing MS SQL Server infrastructures
- Detail-oriented and good problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Excellent English skills – spoken and written
What we consider a plus (not mandatory):
- Experience with C# .NET technologies
- Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience in the manufacturing industry or with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
