Risk Officer

Currently, we are seeking a Risk Officer who's eager to continuing to evolve, thrives on challenges, and is ready to embark in a new opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of policies, standards, guidelines, and related guidance related to information security throughout the organization;
• Identify and assess risks and opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the company’s operations;
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines;
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that systems and applications are developed and maintained with a security focus;
• Monitor and report on the progress of GRC initiatives and propose continuous improvements;
• Conduct security assessments, audits and process reviews to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvements;
• Provide training and guidance to employees on secure IT practices and security awareness;
• Stay current with changes in regulations and ensure the company complies with all applicable laws;
• Stay up-to-date on cybersecurity trends and maintain knowledge of industry best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in Isimilar roles;
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, SOX);
• Understanding of cyber security regulation (DL 65º/2021, Lei 46/2018);
• Problem solver with the ability to discuss, analyze, and prioritize meeting projects objectives;
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic;
• Analytic, qualitative, and quantitative reasoning skills and demonstrated creative problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to pick up new concepts and skills quickly, with a proactive attitude to learning;
• Ability to communicate in a simple, clear and concise manner to the various teams within our organization;
• Experience working in a fast-paced multi-team environment;
• Fluent level of english.
