Scrum master

Satcom International AG is a company with headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, working on different projects revolving around IoT solutions and Industry 4.0 with the goal to innovate the market for the B2B and B2C segments.

Satcom is looking for a Scrum master to integrate our team.

The company goal is to develop a flexible management platform to help companies embrace digitalization and manage more efficiently all their resources, such as team, fleet, articles, and others.

As a Scrum master you will have the following responsibilities:

• Make 6-8 functional teams work towards the same goal;
• Coordinate our projects under the Agile development methodology, ensuring adherence to company processes, collect relevant data for decisions, calculating team capacity according to past data, managing team’s task allocations, monitoring progress and reporting.
• Work with internal and external teams to develop and deliver required applications.
• Help and support the roadmap for several products and build visibility for every part of the company;
• Use product development experience to coach and support Product Managers in communication and stakeholder management;
• Ensure all teams have clear guidelines / User stories & that test plans are in place.
• Support and coach the development department to adopt agile ways of work;
• Be an advocate for change and guide teams through organizational change;
• Provide hands-on support to engineering teams in adopting an agile mindset and practices with a focus on growing capabilities in the teams;

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
• +4 years of experience as Scrum Master
• Experience in managing an IT project
• Experience as a Scrum Master in an agile methodology
• Proficient problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
• Interest in managing different stakeholder requirements in a dynamic environment, demonstrating strong leadership, self-motivation, and empathy
• Excellent communication skills: fluency in written and spoken English is required (German will be a plus)
