Security Engineer

Currently, we are seeking an exceptional Security Engineer who thrives on complex challenges, and is ready to seize this fantastic opportunity.

 

Responsibilities:

• Accompany various stakeholders with the implementation of security standards and best practices;
• Help to strengthen the security posture of various technical solutions;
• Support project and product teams worldwide with regards to IT security topics and their security implementations;
• Contribute to activities and security improvements such as system hardening, secure configurations, resilient network or cloud environments;
• Advising other security functions (e.g. SOC, Security Governance, Pen Test, PKI, IAM) with professional expertise;
• Work together with security architects and security engineers;
• Technical contact person for the departments in all questions concerning IT security and best practices.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field;
• +3 years of work experience in IT security;
• Motivation to constantly improve processes and methodologies;
• Self-motivated and results-oriented – capable of helping other teams to improve their security posture without supervision;
• Sound IT knowledge, including knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, software, hardware, and security as well as technical know-how of current technologies;
• Technical expertise of commercially available PKI solutions and providers plus knowledge of relevant standards and protocols is an advantage;
• Professional experience in designing, building and securing large cloud environments is an advantage;
• Fluent level of English - German and other languages are a plus.
