Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure

What are you going to do?

• Design and execute the establishment of novel Cloud environments, encompassing the configuration of landing zones, security measures, segregations, subscription management, and the overall setup of cloud resources and services;
• Provide active assistance during the transition from on-premises operations to the cloud, actively participating in the co-design and implementation of the Azure cloud environment;
• Create and deploy cloud solutions in alignment with technical and organizational requirements, taking into account both local and global framework conditions;
• Coordinate and merge requirements from cloud, PaaS, and SaaS aspects into the cloud architecture, ensuring seamless implementation across cloud environments and platforms;
• Offer advisory services to projects on various cloud-related topics;
• Deliver operational, content-related, and technical support for the Cloud;
• Supervise the relationship between Azure and 365 resources and services;
• Oversee the correlation between Azure and the OnPrem environment, including AD Forests and the application landscape;
• Generate and update system descriptions and overviews;
• Effectively communicate and advocate for cloud strategy and architectures both internally and externally;
• Formulate and uphold quality standards;
• Organize and execute design reviews.

 

What are we looking for?

• Degree in computer science or equivalent;
• Extensive professional background in IT engineering and cloud design;
• Significant experience in Azure Cloud Engineering and the design of architecture;
• Microsoft Azure Certifications (mandatory);
• Comprehensive IT expertise in both infrastructure and application layers, including their procedural relationships;
• In-depth familiarity with Azure Arc:
• Profound understanding of Active Directory Architecture;
• Thorough knowledge of Office 365 and associated cloud services;
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages;
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and frameworks, such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform;
• Written and verbal communication skills in English (B2).
• Available to work from Portugal (with resident permit or EU passport).
